Dr. Jack is a very special service dog at
Mayo Clinic. He visits patients at the clinic
and in the hospital to help them feel better.

Dr. Jack was released on 22nd December 2010.

His birthday is on 31st December 2001.

He was a Mayo Clinic exclusive Beanie Baby based on the book, Let’s visit Mayo Clinic with Dr. Jack the Helping Dog. The Beanie Baby and the book are based on a real Miniature Pinscher dog called Jack who is a facility-based service dog at the Mayo Clinic and has helped more than 2,000 patients.

He was retired in February 2011.
