Description
America is bright red in colour with a white left ear and a blue right ear. He has black button eyes and a black button nose. A red, white and blue ribbon is tied neatly around his neck and embroidered on his chest is the American flag.

Collectors note
America the Bear was released on 22nd March 2002.
Three different versions of this bear were produced: a red version, a white version and a blue version.
It was released to raise money for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and raised more than $2 million in total.
Another version of the red bear was released with the blue ear on the left. This version is harder to come by.
America was retired on 3rd April 2002.
