Ariel is a pale green bear with black button eyes and a black button nose. Around it’s neck is a translucent multicoloured ribbon and on it’s chest are embroidered colourful flowers.

Ariel the Bear was introduced on 1st June 2000.
Ariel was produced in honour of Ariel Glaser and was made to raise funds for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
The flowers on her chest are based on a drawing by Ariel Glaser.
It was retired on 31st December 2001.
