He is almost identical to the previous vampire bear Beanie Baby, Count, except that Count has a purple belt, whereas Baron Van Pyre’s belt is red.
He was retired on 27th December 2007.

I have a Baron von Pyre with a birthdate of October 20, 2006. The only information I find on Baron von Pyre is a birthdate of October 20,2007. Could this be a mistake that makes him a little more valuable?

Oh, Baron… He’s sweet, and he’s dear to me… My Baron is a little wonky. His teeth are a little off-center, and his eyes are… also, a little skewed, much like his teeth. At least he’s consistent. Either way, I love him and he’s mine.
