Captain Haddock is made from a pale pink material with a black beard and hair. He has embroidered blue eyes. He wears a blue jumper with a black anchor on it and black trousers. Over his jumper, he wears a black jacket and a black captain’s hat with gold trim.

Captain Haddock was released in July 2011.
He is based on the character of the same name from the comic book, The Adventures of Tintin. This Beanie was released to coincide with the movie release of The Adventures of Tintin.
The Adventures of Tintin comic book is one of the most popular comic book series of the 20th century and has been translated into over 80 different languages worldwide. It was created by Georges Rémi, a French-Belgian artist who lived between 1907-1983. He wrote and illustrated The Adventures of Tintin (Les Aventures de Tintin) under the pen name, Hergé.
There were three Tintin character Beanie Babies released. The other two were Tintin himself and Snowy the white dog.
All of these Beanie Babies feature an extra “The Adventures of Tintin” swing tag.
