Description

The Brazilian version of Champion is a brown, fuzzy bear with black button eyes and a button nose with the Brazilian flag on it. It wears a gold ribbon tied around it’s neck. On it’s chest is a button with the words “2002 FIFA World Cup” on it.

to win 3 FIFA World Cup Trophies;
1958, 1962, 1970 & was the runner-
up in 1950.

Champion the Bear was introduced on 4th April 2002.

There are 32 different version of Champion, all representing the different countries that were in the 2002 World Cup. This particular bear, represents Brazil.

Each version of Champion bear was retired separately on the day their country was eliminated from the World Cup.

The Brazilian Champion the Bear was retired on 30th June 2002.
