Description
The Danish version of Champion is a fuzzy, brown bear with black button eyes and a button nose with the Danish flag on it. It wears a gold ribbon tied around it’s neck. On it’s chest is a button with the words “2002 FIFA World Cup” on it.

Denmark has qualified for the FIFA
World Cup twice before; in 1986
and 1998, reaching the quarter finals
in France where they lost 3-2 Brazil.

Each version of Champion the Bear was retired separately on the day that the country was eliminated from the 2002 World Cup.
