Collectors note

Champion the Bear was introduced on 4th April 2002.

There are 32 different versions of Champion, each representing the countries that were in the 2002 World Cup. This particular bear represents Korea Republic.

There are two different versions of swing tag for the Korean Champion bears, one with an English tag and one with a Korean tag. This version has the Korean language swing tag.

Each version of Champion was retired separately on the day that country was eliminated from the 2002 World Cup.

The Korean Republic Champion the Bear retired on 25th June 2002.
