Decade the Bear – Brown

Description

Decade is made from a brown material covered in sparkly bits. He has black button eyes and a larger black button nose. He wears a yellow ribbon tied around his neck and a “10 Year Anniversary” button on his chest.

Ten years ago a toy was created
Around the world, people were elated
Across all ages, colors and races
Beanies would put a smile on their faces!

Collectors note

Decade was released on 15th December 2003.

His birthday is on 22nd January 2003.

Decade is available in 10 different colours. These are brown, gold, green, dark blue, light blue, pink, orange, red, white and purple.

The Decade bears were made to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Beanie Babies range.

The first decade bear was spotted on 16th February 2003 at the New York City Toy Fair.

This brown version was exclusively available on the Ty online store.

Ty Warner personally signed 100 of the Decade bears.

Decade retired on 6th February 2004.
