Description

Frankenteddy is a multicoloured bear with all his head, body, arms and legs made from different colours of fabric. He has black button eyes and a larger black button nose. he is covered in a black stitch pattern to give the appearance that he has been stitched back together.

When Jack-O-Lanterns glow with light

Collectors note

Frankenteddy was released on 29th August 2002.

His Birthday is on 31st October 2001.

He was retired on 24th October 2002.

Frankenteddy has six different colour variations: blue and red feet, red and purple feet, blue and green feet, purple and blue feet, green and purple feet and orange and blue feet.

There was also a prototype Frankenteddy with black feet sold at auction in October 2002 to raise money for UNICEF.

Frankenteddy’s poem was chosen from a contest run by the Mary Beth’s Beanies & More magazine. The winner was called Vicki Russell and her poem was featured in Frankenteddy’s swing tag.
