Issy the Bear – New York

Description

Issy is a light blue bear with black button eyes and a larger black nose. She wears a silvery mesh ribbon tied around her neck. She has the Four Seasons Hotel logo embroidered on her chest.

Issy is named after Isadore Sharp,
Founder and Chairman of Four Seasons
Hotels and Resorts.

All profits of Ty from this
collectible will be donated to
The Terry Fox Foundation

Collectors note

Issy was released on 30th December 2000.

She was retired on 15th February 2004.

This is the New York Issy. There are 63 different Issy bears representing different cities where the Four Seasons Hotel is located. 62 were sold at retailers apart from the New York Issy, which was only available from the Four Seasons Hotel in New York.

100% of the profits from the sale of the New York bear went to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The profits from the other 62 Issy bears were donated to the Terry Fox Foundation.

The New York Issy came with a special card which read as follows:
