Description

Peter Rabbit is a light brown rabbit with black button eyes and black stitching for his nostrils and mouth. He has a lighter brown belly and cream coloured inner ears. He wears a blue jacket with “Peter Rabbit” embroidered on it in gold thread and he wears dark brown shoes.

Collectors note

The Tale of Peter Rabbit was released on 5th June 2006.

He is based on the character of the same name from the Beatrix Potter book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

This was the exclusive version of Peter Rabbit that was exclusive to The World of Beatrix Potter, which is an attraction in Cumbria, UK and in Harrods, also in the UK. There was also a retail version with blue thread.

The retail version features his name in blue thread instead of gold and his ears are placed outward-facing instead of forward-facing.

There were six retail Beanie Babies released with coloured thread: Peter Rabbit, Pigling Bland, Tom Kitten, Mr. Tod, Jeremy Fisher and Jemima Puddle-duck.
