Description
Peter Rabbit is a light brown rabbit with black button eyes and black stitching for his nostrils and mouth. He has a lighter brown belly and cream coloured inner ears. He wears a blue jacket with “Peter Rabbit” embroidered on it in blue thread and he wears dark brown shoes.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit was released on 5th June 2006.
He is based on the character of the same name from the Beatrix Potter book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
This is the retail version of Peter Rabbit with blue thread. There was another exclusive version of Peter Rabbit with gold thread that was exclusive to The World of Beatrix Potter, which is an attraction in Cumbria, UK and in Harrods, also in the UK.
The exclusive version features his name in gold thread instead of blue and his ears are placed forward-facing instead of outward-facing.
There were six retail Beanie Babies released with coloured thread: Peter Rabbit, Pigling Bland, Tom Kitten, Mr. Tod, Jeremy Fisher and Jemima Puddle-duck.
