Righty was released on 25th October 2000.
He was part of a McDonald’s Happy Meal promotion that ran from 13th June – 9th November 2000. This promotion was released in stages, with Righty being part of the American Trio which was released around the same time as the USA elections. The Teenie Beanie Babies in the American Trio were Lefty, Righty and Libearty and they were all boxed.
