It’s Beanie Mail time!

I ordered two lots of Beanies from The Magical Gift Boutique! The first parcel was an Easter Bunny Beanie Bundle with Meringue, Cream and Dusty and I also ordered Binx the cat.

The second parcel I ordered because I just couldn’t resist them! I decided to order Strawberry, Kiwi and Lemon who were all available on special offer in an Easter Bunny Beanie Balls bundle.

I thought I’d try testing them out in our brand new photo light box!

How cute are this pair?! I’m currently missing Peaches, but I have managed to source her to complete the set and she should be arriving shortly.

I’m loving the new upright ear design on this year’s Easter Bunnies, as well as their very sweet faces that make them look utterly scrumptious!

They also have the most adorable paw prints on their paws!

I can’t get over how adorable this pair look together!

There’s Peetie in his eggshell hat and pants and Dusty in her little Easter chick slippers!

These three together make me so hungry! I love how colourful they are!

When together, Strawberry, Kiwi and Lemon look just like balls of sorbet!

As I said previously, these three, paired with Meringue, Peaches and Cream would make a perfectly sweet pavlova!

Binx

Binx Cat Ty Beanie Bellies 2024

She may not be an Easter Beanie, but she arrived in my parcel so I thought I’d show you what she looks like in reality.

Binx was the last cat I needed to complete my regular-sized cat Beanie Bellies collection.

She is purrfectly adorable and I’m so glad I’ve got her! I absolutely love her blue eyes!

My thoughts…

I really love this year’s Easter range!

One thing I really like is how good they all look together as I’m thinking of adding them to a small Easter Beanie display. All the colours compliment each other and look amazing!

I can’t wait to add Peaches to the mix as I think she really will finish off the set.

Binx is also a lovely addition to the Beanie Bellies range and her eyes really are beautiful.

New Ty Beanies arriving in November 2023!

The first of these is Hambone.

How adorable is this little guy?! I just love the little grey patches they have given him, and his little piggy snout is just perfect!

His Birthday is on 27th February and his poem reads:

I like the spring

Jenni

Jenni the Cat Ty Beanie Bellies

I’ve been so looking forward to having Jenni in my collection!

Not only are her pastel colours purrfect, she kind of reminds me of the original Peace bears and Sammy from the 90s. Obviously, she has the newer glittery button eyes, but the colours on each one are so different, that each one is unique!

Her Birthday is on 14th September and her poem reads:

Four soft little paws
Without the sharp claws
All pastel and pretty
A wonderful Kitty!

Herdly

Herdly the Cow Ty Beanie Bellies

Now, this is a Beanie Belly that I have been eagerly awaiting! Herdly the cow!

It’s been too long since we had a new cow Beanie, and Herdly is a fantastic new addition to the Beanie Bellies range!

I love her tiny horns and I think it’s brilliant that Ty have given great attention to detail by adding udders to her belly!

She is probably one of my favourites this year!

Herdly’s Birthday is on 16th July and her poem reads:

In the pasture where I graze
It’s the best on sunny days
On the days if there is rain
I stay in and eat my grain

Fisher is a delightful little penguin with pale grey feathers. She is so adorable and I’m glad that Ty have created a slightly different design for her rather than a traditional black and white penguin.

Rukus the Skunk Ty Beanie Bellies

Rukus is probably one of my favourite Beanie Bellies this November! She reminds me a little of Flower the Skunk from the Disney movie, Bambi.

I love how there are little extra details, such as her paw prints have been adapted to look a little bit like skunk tracks and she has extra fluffy fur on her head and tail.

Randi

Randi the Rottweiler Dog Ty Beanie Bellies

Randi is a gorgeous Rottweiler dog with lovely, tan-coloured details on her eyebrows, face and legs.

I love her cute little black paw pads and how her glittery golden eyes stand out from her black fur.

MY THOUGHTS…

I am absolutely loving the new November Beanies!

The new Beanie Bellies are absolutely fantastic and I’m over the moon with the new designs!

I think my favourite of the new regular-sized Beanie Bellies is probably Herdly, closely followed by Rukus. Although to be honest, it was hard to pick a favourite this time as they are all so cute!

I am looking forward to seeing the new medium-sized Beanie Bellies in real life! And I can’t wait for Mango and Stubby to arrive (and I may sneakily order a Penelope at some point!…)

The Beanie Balls are great too! I think my two favourites would have to be Pigasso and Gilly.

Series 5 of the 30th Anniversary Beanie Babies available soon!

Hi everyone!

Who else is excited for the upcoming release of the fifth series of 30th Anniversary Beanie Babies?

I’m especially happy that the UK will be getting three Beanies instead of only two like in the last series! In the last series, we only got Signature Bear II and Nanook II, whereas the USA had Blue Teddy II, Nanook II and Zip II.

This time, both the USA and UK will get three Beanies! Hooray!

So, which Beanie Babies will be available in this series?

Silver II

Silver II the Cat 30th Anniversary Beanie Baby

Silver II is one of the latest 30th Anniversary Beanie Babies!

She is based on the original Silver Beanie Baby. I haven’t seen it yet, but since all the other poems so far have matched the originals I’m guessing her poem will be as follows:

Curled up, sleeping in the sun
He’s worn out from having fun
Chasing dust specks in the sunrays
This is how he spends his days!

The original Silver (and his counterpart Amber) were based on two orphaned kittens who were adpoted by Ty Warner.

I wonder if one day there may be an Amber II….I hope so.

Dotty II

Dotty the Dalmatian Dog 30th Anniversary Beanie Baby

Dotty II is based on the original Dotty.

Both Beanies look incredibly similar, The only main difference will be that the newer Anniversary version will have softer, plush fur.

Again, I’m assuming that her poem will be as follows:

The Beanies all thought it was a big joke
While writing her tag, their ink pen broke
She got in the way, and got all spotty
So now the Beanies call her Dotty!

Dotty is so cute, and I love her poem on how she “got her spots”.

Blue Teddy II

Blue Teddy II the Bear 30th Anniversary Beanie Baby

Blue Teddy II is only part of the UK series 5. He was already released in the USA as part of the fourth series.

This teddy is the most gorgeous bright blue colour. His rainbow ribbon suits him perfectly.

His Birthday is on 30th November (based on the USA release in the last series) and his poem is as follows:

Teddy wanted to go out today
All of his friends went out to play
But he’d rather help whatever you do
After all, his best friend is you!

Despite him being named “Blue Teddy II”, there was no original Blue Teddy and this is the first of his name.

And finally…

Celebrate II

Celebrate II the Bear 30th Anniversary Beanie Baby

Celebrate II will only be released in the USA this time round.

His Birthday is on 18th December and his poem is as follows:

Each year it seems we’ve just begun
Bringing your favorites one by one
That’s got to be the reason why
These 30 years quickly flew by

At the moment, it’s unknown whether he will arrive in the UK, but I will update you if he does.

My thoughts

I’m loving the new Silver II and Dotty II, but I wish there was a little more variety in colour.

I LOVE the bright colours from the earlier series. I loved the wacky colour combinations of Patti II, Peanut II and Squealer II. Even Nanook II was blue instead of grey.

I wish that Ty had made one of the Beanies in this series a bright colour, but that’s just my personal opinion and I do love the two Beanies that have been announced.

I also REALLY hope that they make an Amber II as a friend for Silver II…

New Feature! – Beanie Baby Birthday Finder!

Hi everyone!

Apologies for things being a little slow on the website lately. We’ve had our hands full with the arrival of our own, littlest Beanie Baby, Chloe!

Things have been a little hectic round here, although we are beginning to somewhat settle into some kind of routine and I’ve been trying to update Beaniepedia in between feeding and nap times.

I have been working my way through your Beanie requests but if I haven’t added your request just yet, don’t worry, I will do shortly.

And now for some more news I’m excited to share with you all…we have a brand new feature on the website!

New Beanie Baby Birthday feature!

If you haven’t seen it already, there is a new Beanie Birthday Finder feature on the website! You can now search for Ty Beanies with a Birthday on a specific day. For instance, you had a friend and you wanted to find a Beanie that shared their birth date, just look for the section on the right hand column that says “Birthday beanie”, enter the month and day that you want to search for and you will be able to find all the Beanies with a Birthday on that day!

You can also filter the results, for example, if you want to only show all the Beanie Boos with a Birthday on today’s date (31st January). You will then see a list of all the Beanie Boos that have a Birthday for that specific day. In this instance, that would be Ollie the Octopus, Ollie the Octopus (Medium) and Ollie the Octopus (Key Clip).

Ty Valentine’s Day Beanies announced for 2023!

Hi everyone!

Christmas is just around the corner and lots of gorgeous, Winter-themed Beanie Boos, Beanie Bellies, Beanie Balls and Squish a Boos are now available!

Although, some more upcoming releases have now been announced…the Ty Valentine’s Day Beanies!

These Beanies won’t be available until 2023, however let’s take a look at what will be released next year.

Beanie Boos

There are three new Valentine’s Day Beanie Boos in the pipeline.

The first of these is Milena, a beautiful kitty with pale grey and pink patches. She holds a sparkly pink heart just for you!

Next, we have Beau. Beau is a Dalmatian dog with bright pink hearts for spots and a bright pink patch on her face. Her eyes have a sleepy expression that make her look adorable.

Finally, we have Esme. She is a cute little panda carrying a shiny, bright pink heart.

Beanie Bellies

Next up, we have the new Valentine’s Day Beanie Bellies!

The first of these is Heartly, the adorable little poodle. She is white with gorgeous pink fur on top of her head, on the tips of her ears and around her ankles.

Finally, we have Desi. Desi is a sweet white bear with red ears and paws. She carries a bright red heart in her paws.

Squish a Boos

The only Valentine’s Day Squish a Boo that has been announced for next year is a pink unicorn named Francy.

She is a pale pink colour with a twisted, pink and silver horn. She will be available in a medium 10″ size and a large 14″ size.

My thoughts…

I think my favourites from the Valentine’s range have to be Milena and Heartly. I love the colours on Milena (plus I’m a huge cat lover) and Heartly just looks so cute!
