Description
Ai is made using multi-coloured tie-dyed fabric in pastel colours. He has black button eyes and a red button nose. A red ribbon is tied around his neck and a Japanese flag is embroidered on his chest.

Ai was introduced 28th April 2003.
He was an Asia-Pacific bear that was exclusive to Japan.
Ai was retired 20th January 2005.
There was a commemorative version of Ai released in the Japan Ty Store called Ai Motomachi.
Ai is exclusive to Japan and is one of six Asian-Pacific bears that were released in 2003. The other five are called Aussiebear, Kiwiana, Coreana, Singabear and Wireabear.
