Orange and black Stripes was released on 7th January 1996.

He was retired on 3rd June 1996.

This early version of Stripes had a dark orange body with thicker black stripes. He only had a 3rd generation swing tag. Later versions were lighter orange with thinner stripes. This early dark orange version with the 3rd generation swing tag is more desirable among collectors.
