Description

Gobbles is a brown turkey Beanie Baby with a red head and red wing tips. She has black button eyes, a yellow beak with black stitching for her nostrils and a red wattle under her chin. She has bright yellow feet and a brown, red and white fan tail.

Gobbles measures approximately 15cm (6 inches) tall.

She features either a 4th or 5th generation hang tag (see hang tag guide for more information).

Gobbles the turkey loves to eat
Once a year she has a feast
I have a secret I’d like to divulge
If she eats too much her tummy will bulge!

Collectors note

The Gobbles Beanie Baby was released on 1st October 1997.

Her Birthday is on 27th November 1996.

She was retired on 31st March 1999.

Gobbles was released with various types of wattles (the skin under a turkey’s chin), including a single or double felt wattle.

Occasionally, Gobbles had a Chinese factory mark inside the tush tag (usually 301).

Oddity information

Gobbles has been known to mistakenly have a Dotty or a Tuffy tush tag.

She has also been spotted with a missing leg!
