Description
Iggy is a blue, tie-dyed iguana with yellow button eyes and yellow stitching for his mouth. He has a ridge of green spines running along his back and his tail slightly curls at the end.

Sitting on a rock, basking in the sun

Collectors note
Iggy was released on 15th August 1998.
His Birthday is on 12th August 1997.
He was retired on 31st March 1999.
Iggy has four different variations. This blue version without a tongue, a tie-dyed version without a tongue, a pastel version with a tongue and a neon version with a tongue.
There was a lot of confusion about Iggy and Rainbow on the Ty production line, resulting in a lot of Iggy Beanie Babies having Rainbow tags and vice versa. These were so common that it is not a true “error” and doesn’t add any extra value.
