His Birthday is on 1st July 1996.
He was retired on 30th July 1999.
Maple was originally going to be called Pride, but the name was changed before his release. Some Maple bears have the name Pride on the tush tag and are only found with a 4th generation swing tag.
Maple was the first country exclusive bear outside the USA.
Maple can occasionally be found with an upside down flag oddity.
