Paul is made from a fuzzy brown material with black button eyes and a pink button nose. Just below his nose is a bushy “moustache”. He also has two large, white tusks.

Paul the Walrus was introduced on 26th April 1999.
It is thought that Paul was made in honour of Paul McCartney, and his poem seems to match up to that theory.
He was retired on 23rd December 1999.
