Hope for Japan is made from a fuzzy black material with large blue and black button eyes and an orange beak. He has a white belly, bright blue feet and blue on the underside of his wings.

In friendship and support of those
affected by the earthquake and tsunami
in Japan, Ty is donating $1 million
to Save the Children’s relief
efforts in Japan.

The Hope for Japan Penguin was introduced on 13th April 2011.

The Hope for Japan penguin was released to raise money for Save the Children. Ty Warner donated one million dollars in order to assist those in need in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami of 11th March 2011.

This Beanie Boo and a Hello Kitty Beanie Baby called “I Love Japan” were released to help with the fundraising efforts.
