As you can see from the title, today was National Bring Your Teddy to Work and School Day!

Ty have released many teddies over the years. Beanie Babies, Beanie Boos, Beanie Buddies, Attic Treasures, Ty Classic, etc, all have various teddies all in different styles and colours.

Some teddies are rarer than others, with the Billionaire bears fetching over $200-400 each!

Some were released for charity. Aware was released to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.

There have been Christmas bears, like the 1999 Holiday Teddy, St. Patrick’s Day bears, like Clover, and Easter bears like Bonnet.

Ty even released some to mark that very special day that a boy or girl is born into the world.

Asia, Pegasus, Glider and Sky High available in different sizes!

Asia the tiger, Pegasus the unicorn, Glider the penguin and Sky High the giraffe were originally thought to be only available in the regular 6″ size. It turns out that Ty have made larger versions of them also made them into key clips.

Asia is now available in 6″, 9″ and 16″ sizes and as a key clip.

Glider is available in 6″, 9″ and 16″ sizes and as a key clip.

Sky High is available in 6″, 9″ and 16″ sizes and as a key clip.

Pegasus is available in 6″, 9″ and 16″ sizes and as a key clip.

Cecil Beanie Baby is now available again on Amazon UK!

Cecil is back on Amazon UK!

He was previously available on Amazon UK via third-party seller, The Entertainer. The few that they were selling sold out very quickly.

Now Cecil is back again on Amazon UK via another seller, Inspiration Gift Shop.

Judging from the previous time he was available, he probably won’t be around for long so get him quickly before they sell out!

Halloween Beanie Boo Competition!

Ty are holding a new competition which gives two lucky winners the chance to receive Midnight the owl, Frights the cat, Igor the bat, and the two ghost Beanie Boos, Grimm and Treats. There will also be 26 runners-up who will receive a medium 9″ Midnight the owl!

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning him is go to Ty’s Facebook page and comment on their Halloween Beanie Boo Sweepstakes picture what your favourite Halloweenie Beanie is!

The winners will be drawn on 23rd October and announced on 26th October.

Cecil now available at The Entertainer stores in the UK

Cecil has now appeared at The Entertainer stores in the UK!

The Cecil Beanie Baby was announced in August with all the profits from the sale of the beanie going to WILDCRU.

It was said that Cecil would start appearing in late September to early October.

Cecil has also been spotted at a Learning Express store in Franklin, Tennessee via their Instagram page.

The Entertainer are also selling Cecil via Amazon UK with all the profits going to WILDCRU.

Cecil the Lion Beanie Baby spotted at Learning Express store!

Learning Express in Franklin, Tennessee have posted a photo on their Instagram page showing that they have a limited stock of Cecil the Lion Beanie Babies in stock!

The Cecil the Lion Beanie Baby was announced by Ty last month with all of the profits from the sale of Cecil going to raise funds for WILDCRU to aid in conservation efforts in Zimbabwe.

It was said that Cecil would be released in late September so hopefully more should be on their way to stores soon.

New York Yankees limited edition giveaway this weekend!

This weekend, there will be a beanie giveaway at the New York Yankees stadium!

On Saturday 26th September, the first 10,000 guests who are 14 years old and younger will receive a limited edition New York Yankees Beanie Ballz.

On Sunday 27th September, the first 10,000 guests of the same age range will receive a limited edition New York Yankees navy blue bear Beanie Buddy.

Beanie Boo Retirements

Ty have announced that five Beanie Boos will soon be retiring!

The blue-eared Peanut the elephant, Zig-Zag the Zebra, Fetch the Dalmatian and both the black and purple variations of Crawly the Spider will all soon be off the shelves so keep your eye out for them as they’ll soon be unavailable.

The news that Peanut, Zig-Zag and Fetch didn’t come as a surprise as they have been available for some time, however, the two Crawly versions came as shock as they are only a year old!
