Mr. Jeremy Fisher had existed in Beatrix Potter’s
imagination for many years before his story was
eventually published in 1906. He first appeared
in 1893 in a picture letter to a young child.

The Tale of Jeremy Fisher was released on 5th June 2006.
He is based on the character of the same name from the children’s books written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter.
There were two versions of Jeremy Fisher: this version with blue thread that was available for general retail and another version with gold thread that was exclusive to The World of Beatrix Potter in Cumbria and Harrods.
Both versions were exclusive to the UK.
There were six retail Beanie Babies released with coloured thread: Peter Rabbit, Pigling Bland, Tom Kitten, Mr. Tod, Jeremy Fisher and Jemima Puddle-duck.
