Just a heads up that McDonald’s (in the UK at least) are now running a Teenie Beanie Boo promotion!
I wasn’t even aware of this promotion and only came across it after ordering a Happy Meal for my daughter. I couldn’t believe my luck when I opened up the box and spotted the Ty heart on the smaller box inside!
Inside was a cute little white seal wearing a red hat, covered in a white fish pattern. She has embroidered, green eyes instead of plastic eyes like previous Teenie Beanie Boos. This is because McDonald’s in the UK have stopped making plastic Happy Meal toys. This may explain why the previous promotion never arrived in the UK.
This cute little seal is called Sally. Her Birthday is on October 5th and her poem reads as follows:
In the month of December, you’ll hear me squeal. It’s almost Christmas, I’m one happy Seal!
So far, I’m only aware of the five Teenie Beanie Boos in the top picture and Sally the seal. If anybody has any further information, please comment below!
I’ve been on a short break from the website recently as we’ve just travelled back to our home in Bulgaria. However, I’m now back to working on the database and have been adding in Beanie requests today.
There has recently been a Teenie Beanie Boos promotion running from 11th May to 7th June in the USA. This has now ended, but it included 14 Teenie Boos based on previous regular Beanie Boos, but each seemed to have slight differences to their retail counterparts.
The Beanie Boos in the set were Dotson, Glitzy, Henry, Iceberg, Kipper, Kookoo, Louie, Ming, Pongo, Safari, Sammy, Slick, Sully and Tiggs.
So far, there is no sign of the Teenie Beanie Boos appearing in the UK, which is a little disappointing.
Fiona, Livvie and Atlas resemble previous Claire’s exclusive Beanie Boos. Fiona looks like Amaya, Livvie is identical to Lacey and Atlas is a lot like Piper with eyelashes. Cassidy, Muddles and Nina are brand new designs and are probably my favourite out of the new 2021 Beanie Boos.
I know it’s early, but I’m hoping that Ty release some Halloween Beanie Boos this year. I’ve checked the Ty Calendar and there’s no sign just yet, but I’m really hoping that we’ll see some designs soon. The Halloween-themed Beanie Boos are some of my favourites.
Last year we had Pandora, Radar and Spike who were soo cute, so hopefully we’ll get some more great designs this year.
Have you managed to get the 2021 McDonald’s Teenie Beanie Boos or any of the new 2021 Beanie Boos? Leave a comment below!
Previously, I reviewed the Holly Beanie Boo that I had bought from Claire’s. She was released alongside two other Claire’s exclusives called Rory the kangaroo and Kora the koala in the USA but for some reason, only Holly was available in the UK (BOOOO!).
Well, I checked the Claire’s website this morning and it appears that all three are now available in the UK! About time!
Not only that, but the new mythical Teenie Beanie Boos were released in McDonald’s in the UK on 2nd December, so it’s the second bit of good Beanie news this month!
Hope you’re all well, and stay tuned for my new Vlogmas video out later on today!
Previously, I posted an article about the Teenie Beanie Boos that arrived to Germany from August to September.
Well, I’ve just found out on the McDonald’s website that the Teenie Beanie Boos are arriving to the UK!
They are going to be included in every McDonald’s Happy Meal from 2nd December, so keep a look out for them! I’m not sure whether they will be available for individual purpose yet, especially with the current situation, but at least they’re going to be finally available soon!
Interestingly, it looks like are going to be two new faces appearing. As seen below, there seems to be a winged pegasus and a griffin, which is kind of cool.
I am really looking forward to these guys finally coming to the UK, so from 2nd December, keep your eyes open for them!
For those of you in Germany, you might want to check out your local McDonald’s as they are giving away Teenie Beanie Boos with every Happy Meal!
There are ten Teenie Beanie Boos to collect, all brand new designs!
Here they are pictured below:
1. Sage
Sage is a green deer-like “thing” with fluffy yellow hair. He has silver antlers and big, yellow eyes.
Sage reminds me of some kind of “Spirit of the Woods”. I think he might be my favourite of this new collection.
2. Levi
Levi is a purple dragon with pink eyes and sparkly purple “ears”. She has tiny purple wings and a pink-purple belly.
3. Lionel
Lionel is a white lion with ice-blue eyes and a fluffy white mane. Although they do exist naturally, they are quite rare.
4. Neptune
Neptune looks to be some sort of blue ice dragon creature. He has blue eyes and sparkly blue ears.
5. Wulong
I’m not entirely sure what Wulong is. Some sort of horse…err…dragon…umm…thing? Does anyone else have any ideas what he might be? Pop it in the comments below!
6. Mino
Mino is a small, brown bull, who I’m guessing is supposed to be based on the Minotaur from Greek Mythology. He has yellow eyes and large, sparkly horns on top of his head.
7. Winter
Winter is a blue-grey, wyvern. He has green eyes and a white belly. Wyverns are a dragon-like creatures with two back legs and two, winged arms that are folded back when not in flight, or so the stories say.
8. Phoebe
Phoebe is a red bird with yellow eyes and a tuft of orange fur on top of her head. She has orange wings and an orange belly. My guess is that she is supposed to be a Phoenix, just based on the theme of Mythological creatures that seems to be going on here. That, and I think her name gives it away a bit too.
9. Blake
Blake is a dark blue dragon with green eyes and ice blue wings. I’m not sure why, but Blake the “Drake” (the name for your average quadruped dragon) looks a little like a blue Toothless to me.
10. Weiss
Weiss is a white tiger with blue eyes and tufts on blue fur either side of her face. She has black striped on top of her head and black ears. I’m not sure why, but Weiss seems a bit like the odd one out to me. Although there are Chinese Mythological tales surrounding the white tiger, they do exist in real life. But then I suppose the same could be said for Lionel, as white lions also exist in nature.
What do you think of the new Teenie Beanie Boos? And if you’re in Germany at the moment, have fun collecting these little cuties!
