Have you heard? The new Halloween 2023 Beanie Boos have been revealed!

Thursday, August 10th, 2023

Hi everyone!

More exciting news from Ty! We are currently awaiting the announcement for the next series of 30th Anniversary Beanie Babies. However, this year’s Halloween Beanie Boos have been announced for 2023!

There will be four new Beanie Boos available and they are freakily adorable!

See below for the new Halloween Beanie Boos!

Mumford

Mumford the Mummy Halloween Beanie Boo 2023

I can’t quite decide if Mumford is a mummy or a ghost. He wears bandages like a mummy, but has the shape of a ghost!

He is so adorable though, and made more so by the cute little spider pet he carries round with him! I love that his poem is all about his little arachnid friend too.

He is one of my favourite Halloween Beanie Boos this year!

Nightcap

Nightcap the Ghost Halloween Beanie Boo 2023

This is the second ghostly friend available this year!

Nightcap wears a large pointed, striped hat and he has a cute little gold tooth. His entire body is covered in silver sparkles, adding to his ghostly appearance.

I love his his sparkly orange eyes stand out from the white of his body.

Charlotte

Charlotte the Spider Halloween Beanie Boo 2023

Not to be confused with another Beanie Boo cat called Charlotte.

This eight-legged Charlotte is quite possibly named after the spider character from the book, Charlotte’s Web.

She is very cute (if you’re not arachnophobic) and I love the white detail underneath her eyes and her tiny, sparkly fangs. Her orange and black striped legs look very striking against her black body too.

And finally…

Ophelia

Ophelia the Bat Halloween Beanie Boo 2023

It wouldn’t be a Halloween Beanie Boo launch without a bat Beanie Boo!

Last year, we actually had two bats, Drizella and Mortimer. This time, we only have one but she is one of my favourite bats so far!

Her name is Ophelia and she is so adorable!

I absolutely love how her black, fuzzy body is broken up by the sparkly bright blue of her inner ears, her glittery green eyes and her bright red feet. Her sparkly black wings with a red spiderweb pattern also make a nice touch.

My thoughts on the 2023 Halloween Beanie Boos…

My favourite of this spooky bunch is probably Ophelia, followed by Mumford. I love Ophelia’s colouration and I think Mumford’s pet spider is so cute!

I’m a little sad that there are no Halloween cat Beanie Boos this year, but there is a good selection and we did have two cats last year, Morticia and Oleander.

What are your thoughts on this year’s Halloween Beanie Boos? Who is your favourite? Leave a comment below!

New Halloween and Christmas Ty Beanies for 2022!

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022

Hi everyone!

Just in case you hadn’t already heard, Ty have announced the brand new Halloween and Christmas Beanies for 2022….and they’re so adorable!

Last year we didn’t have any new Halloween or Christmas Beanie Boos, only Squish a Boos. These were great, but I would have loved some new Beanie Boo designs.

However, this year Ty have more than made up for the lack of 2021 Seasonal Beanie Boos with both Halloween and Christmas Beanie Boos, Beanie Bellies, Squish a Boos and the brand new Beanie Balls (previously Ty Puffies)!

Here is the low down one some of my favourites. I will include a full list at the end of the post.

Salem

Salem the Cat Ty Beanie Balls

Salem is part of the Beanie Balls product line, which is the recently renamed Puffies range.

I particularly like how Ty have given him green eyes to stand out from the black of his fur. I also was a big fan of Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the 90’s (the cat happened to be called Salem), so I’ve got to love this guy just for that.

Hocus Pocus and Tatters

Hocus Pocus and Tatters Ty Beanie Bellies

I’ve included Tatters and Hocus Pocus together as they look very similar, their birth dates are only one day apart and the appear to have the same poem according to the Ty Calendar.

I love that we are now getting some Seasonal Beanie Bellies, as I really like this product line.

Speaking of Halloween Beanie Bellies, the next spooky Beanie could possibly be one of my favourites of the year…

Bearla

Bearla the Vampire Bear Ty Beanie Bellies

There are a few things I really like about Bearla. Firstly, she’s a Vampire bear, which is pretty cool in itself. Secondly, her Birthday is actually on 31st October, which makes her truly feel like a Halloween Beanie. Finally, I love that she wears a cape. Also, I think her name is a nod to Bella from the Twilight movies.

Morticia

Morticia the Cat Ty Beanie Boo

There are two Halloween Beanie Boo cats this year. As you may already know I’m a big fan of cats, so I’m happy to see this.

It was hard to choose which cat to put on this list, as they’re both too cute, but in the end I chose Morticia, partly because she is named after the Addams Family character, but also because of her wacky colours which I absolutely love!

The other Halloween cat is called Oleander, and although he is really cute too, I had to go with Morticia.

Nordic

Nordic the Dog Ty Beanie Bellies

How could I NOT put Nordic on this list?!

Not only is he ridiculously adorable in his nordic-style hat, but his poem made me feel really sorry for him! The poem reads:

I saw presents under the tree.
They’re all you and none for me.
You’re afraid I might sneak,
Down the stairs for a peek.

How could anyone not give this little guy a present?! That’s just mean!

Gnorbie

Gnorbie the Gnome Ty Beanie Balls

I’m surprised that Ty didn’t jump on the “Gonk” bandwagon sooner! It’s about time a little gnome was introduced and Gnorbie looks just perfect for Winter in his bright red outfit.

Crispin

Crispin the Gingerbread Man Ty Beanie Bellies

Crispin is another of my favourites this year. Not only does he have the most gorgeous green eyes, but I love the striped “icing” finishing off his edges. He looks so yummy, I could eat him all up! Sorry Crispin!

Noel

Noel the Penguin Ty Beanie Boos

What I love about Noel is that he can’t decide whether he’s a penguin or a Christmas tree. Maybe he’s a both? But he looks so cute in his little costume and the star on top is the perfect finishing touch.

New Halloween Beanie Boos for 2022!

Wednesday, May 4th, 2022

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re having a lovely week wherever you are in the world! In the UK, we have just had a Bank Holiday weekend. The weather was nice enough on the Saturday that we were able to get out and about in nature, which made a lovely change.

Roam Beanie Baby at Keppel's Column, Rotherham

Anyway, the reason for this post is that I have some exciting news to share with you all…

There will be new Halloween Beanie Boos this year!

Yes, you heard that right! New stock photos have emerged with four new spooky Beanie Boo designs!

After last year’s disappointment that there were no Halloween Beanie boos for 2021, this is welcome news for us collectors!

The first of these new designs is a dog Beanie Boo wearing a pirate hat.

Pirate Dog Beanie Boo - Halloween 2022

How cute is this little pirate pup?! His hat has a skull and crossbones design on the front and he looks ready for trick-or-treating!

Next up is the first of two bat designs.

This little cutie is jet black with gorgeous green eyes and matching, glittery green feet. His ears and wings and covered in purple-pink glitter.

There will also be another bat, similar in appearance but with sparkly orange ears, eyes, wings and feet. both bats have tiny white fangs.

Finally, one of the cutest (in my opinion) Halloween Beanie Boos this year…

This adorable little arachnid has a fluffy body covered in orange and black zebra stripes. He has orange and black, striped legs and tiny, white fangs. His glitter eyes look like they will be a similar colour to Radar’s eyes.

I think out of all the new designs, the pirate dog and spider are my favourites, but they’re all really cute.

As of yet I don’t have any other information on them (names, poems, etc), so I haven’t added a page for them on the database yet, but I will update when this information becomes available.

Do you like the new Halloween Beanie Boos? If so, who is your favourite? Leave a comment below!

Halloween is nearly here!

Friday, October 8th, 2021

Hi everyone!

It’s been so busy here lately! I’ve been trying to get in as many Beanie requests as possible as I’ve had so many! I’ve still got some more to get through, but I’ve got through quite a big portion of them. The only issue with adding Beanie requests is that I find myself seeing Beanies I absolutely ADORE and must have!

I have actually ordered a new Beanie because of one of the requests I have had through. I will reveal which Beanie when I receive her and do a full review, but she looks so cute that I can’t wait to get her!

I have got some new Halloween Beanies though. Here they are pictured below:

I managed to pick up the two new Halloween Ty Puffies, Echo and Seeds! Echo is so adorable with his little round, fluffy body and tiny fangs and Seeds is cute too!

I also got Seeds in Flippables form! I love how he looks so happy! His glittery green eyes also look great against his bright orange sequins.

Jinx also arrived! I love her gold and dark brown sequins and her odd eyes in orange and green. She also carries a sparkly pumpkin treat in her mouth.

Last but not least, I managed to get hold of Eerie! Eerie is part of the Squish a Boos range and his tiny, sparkly purple wings are too cute for words!

I’ve also got my eye on two Halloween Beanies that I really want in my collection.

The first of these is Hocus.

I love how this little guy has his very own pet spider who he carries around on top of his head.

The second Halloween Beanie I want to get hold of is Scaredy.

Scaredy was a Halloween Beanie Baby I added recently as a request. She is actually part of the Beanie Babies 2.0 range and featured a special code to access a section of Ty’s website that used to be available where you could play games and chat. I love how she has an arched back as if she’s scared of something (hence the name, “Scaredy”).

Who is your favourite Halloween Beanie? Do you have any Halloween Beanies on your wish list? Leave a comment below!

Beanie News Update

Wednesday, September 15th, 2021

Hi everyone!

Sorry things have been quiet lately. Things have been a bit hectic at home recently and I just haven’t had much spare time.

Anyway, what’s been going on in the Beanie world?

Well it turns out that the “unknown” range that I wrote about before are a brand new, redesign for the Beanie Babies range!

There are eight new Beanie Babies using the new design. Their names are Mitzi, Miso, Ying, Clawdia, Skylar, Ace, Duncan and Wilfred. My favourite of these new designs is Miso (pictured below) and I can’t wait to see what he looks like in real life!

It’s getting closer to one of my favourite times of the year….Halloween!

One of the most disappointing pieces of news is that there will be NO new Halloween Beanie Boos this year! I’m so sad about this as I LOVE the Halloween Boos!

However, there are a few new Halloween Squish a Boos, my personal favourite being Eerie the bat (pictured below). I love his little purple wings and tiny fangs! Eerie is available in both a small and large size.

The second bit of sad news is that there will also be no Christmas Beanie Boos! There will be a “Winter-themed”, icy penguin named Tony (pictured below), but no specific Holiday Boo. Tony is very cute but I would have liked some more Christmassy Boos this year to cheer us all up this year.

However, as with Halloween, there are also going to be a few Christmas Squish a Boos. There is a snowman called Flurry, who will be available in a small and large size, and a gingerbread man called Cookie (pictured below), also in small and large.

On a brighter note, the new Beanie Boos are now appearing in the USA, and will be available shortly in the UK too!

My favourite is probably Opal! A fellow Beanie friend of mine described her fur as being like cotton-candy and I totally agree with this description! I can’t wait to get her! Isn’t she just adorable?!

What do you think of the new Beanies? Are you also disappointed that there are no Halloween or Christmas Beanie Boos this year? Leave a comment below!

Happy Halloween from Beaniepedia!

Saturday, October 31st, 2020

Hi everyone!

Just a quick message to wish you all a Happy Halloween! Have a safe, spooky time!

Today, we took a trip out to one of our favourite places in the UK…Dartmoor! Well known for it’s ghost stories and spooky tales. Batty and Roam came along for the ride too!

Our trip was a bit short-lived because the weather turned bad, but we had a great day out nonetheless.

Also, Pandora, Spike and Radar didn’t want to be left out of the Halloween fun! Love these little Boos!

Happy Halloween folks, and stay safe! Let us know your favourite Halloween Beanies in the comments below!

It’s mid-week already!

Wednesday, October 7th, 2020

Well it’s the middle of the week again!

As you may be aware from my Facebook and Instagram pages, we recently got back to the UK from Bulgaria, and as such, we are now in quarantine for 14 days. I don’t know if it’s being quarantine, or being back in the UK with easier access to Beanies (Bulgaria doesn’t really have a market for them), I think I’ve gone a bit Beanie-crazy recently as I’ve managed to get hold of all three Halloween Beanie Boos, Radar, Pandora and Spike! Here they all are pictured with Roam below.

I can’t decide which is my favourite. At first, being a bit of a cat-lover, I thought it might be Pandora. I just love her green eyes and little witch’s hat!

But now, I’m torn between all three!

Radar has a round, fluffy body with little white highlights and I love the colour pattern on his wings and ears. His eyes are also a little different as they almost have a “glowing” look to them.

And Spike is also ultra-adorable!

He has these cute little dark circles under his eyes (almost like myself most days!) and his little smile cheers me right up!

As well as these cuties, I also have Bruni (with sound) on the way. The place I bought him from (The Magical Gift Boutique) kindly gave me the option to have one delivered later, even though I was away at the time, so he should be on his way to me shortly (yay!)

And finally, I have ordered two more Beanie Boos. Hope (who I was unable to get while I was away) and Chase (from Paw Patrol) are currently on their way to me. I’m not actually sure which colour nose my Hope will have, but I’m thinking maybe blue? Technically, one of these two isn’t actually for me – it’s my daughter’s Birthday coming up soon and she ADORES Paw Patrol – so that makes it a tiny bit better, but a few more Beanies have caught my eye since…

Have you bought any new Beanies recently? If so, what new additions do you have to your collections? Leave a comment below!

Have a great Wednesday!

Beanie News Recap

Wednesday, September 16th, 2020

Hi everyone!

I thought I’d do a bit of a recap on what’s been going on recently in the Beanie world!

Beanie Masks

I know these have been out for a while, but I wanted to cover them.

Ty have recently released a range of Beanie Boo masks! There are nine characters to collect, each representing a Beanie Boo.

The current designs are Kiki, Fantasia, Dotty, Slush, Giselle, Dangler, Owen, Bamboo and Coconut.

The masks are re-usable and have adjustable ear loops and a flexible nose bridge.

Halloween Beanie Boos

Now it’s September, it’s not long until Halloween!

Ty released these three awesome Halloween Beanie Boos for 2020. Let’s face it, we all need some new Boos to cheer us up with all that’s going on!

Their names (from left to right) are Radar, Pandora and Spike!

Winter Beanie Boos

As well as the Halloween Boos, this year’s Christmas Beanie Boos have also been announced!

From left to right, their names are Snowfall, Cheer, Chimney and Howlidays. Aren’t they all so cute?!

The Legoland Beanie Boo, Widget!

Finally, there was an unexpected Legoland exclusive, called Widget! He is supposedly some kind of Lego dog.

Interestingly he didn’t have the usual Beanie Boo eyes, which I’m not too sure about to be honest. But I suppose he’s kind of cute, in a weird way?

Hope you enjoy this news round-up!

What’s your favourite of the new arrivals/announcements? Leave a comment below and let us know!

Halloween Beanie Boos for 2020!

Tuesday, September 1st, 2020

I can’t believe it’s September already! And you know what that means? It’s nearly that time of year again! By that, I mean Halloween!

This year has been a difficult one, so I know we probably won’t be celebrating as we normally would. But Ty has some new Beanie Boos in store for us all to cheer us all up a bit!

Firstly, we have Spike!

This little ghost is here to make your Halloween ultra-spooky! He’s really adorable though and not that scary.

Next up, is Radar!

Radar has a very round, hairy body and a spotty pattern for his wings and inner ears. He is not to be confused with the 1995 Beanie Baby, also called Radar.

And finally we have my favourite of the new Halloween Beanie Boos…

Pandora the cat!

Pandora is covered in a moon pattern and wears an adorable, sparkly Witch’s hat.

“Witch” is your favourite new Halloween Beanie Boo?! Let us know below!

Today is International Black Cat Appreciation Day!

Monday, August 17th, 2020

As the title says, today is International Black Cat Appreciation Day!

Funnily enough, I’ve literally just put Heiress, the gorgeous fluffy black cat Beanie Baby from 2004, into the database! Here she is pictured below:

Isn’t she pretty?!

Other favourite black cat Beanie Babies of mine include Fraidy, the Halloween cat (pictured below), Cabaret the fluffy tuxedo cat, Zip the black and white cat (who was all-black in an earlier release) and Frightful the Witch Cat.

For the Beanie Boos, Jinxy (pictured below) is one of my favourite black cats. Others include Potion, Witchie and Shadow. As you can see, most black cats in the Beanie Boos range are Halloween-themed.

Do you own a black cat? Or should I say, does a black cat own you?! Or perhaps you have a favourite black cat Beanie? Leave a comment below!
