What new Beanie Boo animals would YOU like to see?

Friday, November 19th, 2021

Hi everyone!

It’s a sunny Friday afternoon here at Beaniepedia HQ today. A few of the new Beanie Babies and Beanie Boos have now been released, although we’re still waiting on the newly designed, “sitting” Beanie Babies.

I’m currently waiting on a few of the newer Beanies to arrive as there have been problems with shipments to the UK, so hopefully I’ll get my hands on them soon and I’ll review them when I get them.

Since it’s a little quiet with regards to any new Beanie news, I thought I’d ask you all what type of animal that hasn’t currently been released would YOU like to see as a Beanie Boo? This is just for fun and I have no influence over what Beanie Boos Ty will make next, but it’s always fun to dream.

I’ll start with my top 5 Beanie Boo animals that I would love to see in reality.

1. Dinosaur

I would love, love, LOVE to see a dinosaur Beanie Boo. Either a T-Rex, a Stegosaurus or a Triceratops, although I’m open to any dinosaur. I know, there are already Flippables Dinosaurs, like Tremor, but I would love a non-sequin dino!

2. Mallard Duck

We have had plenty of Easter chicks that could POTENTIALLY be a duck, but I would really like to see a mallard duck, a bit like the Jake Beanie Baby from 1998 but in Beanie Boo form.

3. Mole

One animal that Ty haven’t really explored is a mole. There is currently only ONE Ty mole called Digby who was part of the Wild Wild Best collection.

4. Pangolin

These weirdly cute little creatures are almost never made into plush toys. They remind me a little of Sandshrew from Pokemon and I would love to see one made into a Beanie Boo. The closest that Ty have ever released in Tank the armadillo, who is very cute, but is not a pangolin.

And finally…

5. Buffalo

As you may already know, one of my favourite Beanie Babies is Roam the Buffalo, who has been on many travels with me around Europe and continues to be my mascot. I would absolutely love a buffalo Beanie Boo friend for him.

Introducing the new Easter Beanie Boos for Spring 2021!

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2021

Hi everyone!

Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. I’ve been giving my daughter’s room a much-needed makeover which has taken much longer than I bargained for!

I was so disappointed that Ty weren’t releasing any Valentine’s Day Beanie Boos this year. Last year we had some adorable Valentine’s Beanie Boos, like Dainty the curly-haired flamingo and Aphrodite the pink husky, but sadly this year we had none.

However, in the Ty calendar there are a few Easter treats in store for us, as well a some other new faces joining them!

Today, I’m going to introduce to you the new Easter Beanies!

First up is Fuzzy!

Fuzzy is almost a twin of last year’s Easter rabbit Beanie Boo, Slippers. The only difference is Fuzzy is purple instead of white and they have a slightly different eye colour. Slippers is pictured below so you can compare the two.

Although I love the design of these two bunnies (their little slippers are adorable!), I’m a little disappointed that Ty haven’t at least changed the design a little as they are practically identical!

The second Easter Beanie Boo is Feathers!

Feathers, as you can probably tell, is an Easter chick. Ty usually release a chick Beanie Boo for Spring (last year we had the cute little yellow chick, Lemon Drop) so it’s not really a surprise as such. However, I think they’ve got Feathers just right! I love her pink-tinged colour which makes her look so cuddly!

As far as I know, these are the only two Easter Beanie Boos, but there will also be two new Squish a Boos making an appearance!

Bloomy is the first of these, and she will be available in both a large 14″ size and the new small 10″ size.

Bloomy is of course based on the Beanie Boo rabbit, also called Bloomy (pictured below).

The second Squish a Boo coming out shortly is Popper.

Popper is a brand new design who doesn’t have a Beanie Boo counterpart. He/she is a bright yellow chick sitting inside a white eggshell.

Popper, like Bloomy, will also be available in the small 10″ size and large 14″ size.

All of these new Beanies are due to be released either this month or next, so keep your eyes open for them!

There are also some more new faces coming out soon which I will post up shortly, so stay tuned!

I know I have quite a few emails to get through, which I will try and reply to as soon as I can and I will also be adding your Beanie requests on to the site. If I haven’t added your request yet, it should be in there soon.

Hope you’re all well, and please stay safe! (also Roam says Hi!)

Beanie News Recap

Wednesday, September 16th, 2020

Hi everyone!

I thought I’d do a bit of a recap on what’s been going on recently in the Beanie world!

Beanie Masks

I know these have been out for a while, but I wanted to cover them.

Ty have recently released a range of Beanie Boo masks! There are nine characters to collect, each representing a Beanie Boo.

The current designs are Kiki, Fantasia, Dotty, Slush, Giselle, Dangler, Owen, Bamboo and Coconut.

The masks are re-usable and have adjustable ear loops and a flexible nose bridge.

Halloween Beanie Boos

Now it’s September, it’s not long until Halloween!

Ty released these three awesome Halloween Beanie Boos for 2020. Let’s face it, we all need some new Boos to cheer us up with all that’s going on!

Their names (from left to right) are Radar, Pandora and Spike!

Winter Beanie Boos

As well as the Halloween Boos, this year’s Christmas Beanie Boos have also been announced!

From left to right, their names are Snowfall, Cheer, Chimney and Howlidays. Aren’t they all so cute?!

The Legoland Beanie Boo, Widget!

Finally, there was an unexpected Legoland exclusive, called Widget! He is supposedly some kind of Lego dog.

Interestingly he didn’t have the usual Beanie Boo eyes, which I’m not too sure about to be honest. But I suppose he’s kind of cute, in a weird way?

Hope you enjoy this news round-up!

What’s your favourite of the new arrivals/announcements? Leave a comment below and let us know!

Beanie news roundup

Tuesday, August 11th, 2020

Hi everyone!

Apologies for the site being a bit quiet recently. Things have been pretty hectic at home and I haven’t had time up until now to update the site as much as I would have liked to.

Anyway, I’m back! If you have sent any messages recently, I will do my best to reply to you all. However, I have received a lot of messages to catch up on so it might take a while!

So what’s been going on in the world of Ty?

Well it turns out Faye, the pink fox Beanie Boo has a horn!

The stock images of Faye originally showed her without a horn, but in reality she does in fact have a glittery gold horn!

Talking about horns, it also appears that the Giselle Squish a Boo has a golden horn too! I did think it was a bit odd how the Beanie Boo version of Giselle had a horn but it didn’t look like the Squish a Boo version had one. But it turns out she does too!

giselle squish a booAlso, some great news! Tremor has landed back to earth! Tremor went up to space initially as part of the SpaceX launch to indicate to the astronauts when they had reached zero gravity (the story about Tremor’s expedition to space can be found here).

tremor returns home from spacex expeditionThere are also a few new Halloween and Winter Beanie Boos and Puffies that have been announced which I will go into more detail about soon, so stay tuned!

I hope everyone is well and I look forward to posting further updates!

Happy collecting!

Upcoming Beanie Boo?

Friday, May 29th, 2020

Have you spotted this little fox?

This adorable fox is called Faye. Although I saw Faye a while back on the Ty Calendar, I couldn’t find out any details on her before, other than a fuzzy, small image.

Ty have now updated her image on the Calendar and now include her poem, which reads as follows:

Being a sly fox is my claim to fame
Make a silly face, and I’ll do the same!

Faye will probably make an appearance later this year (obviously, the current situation could delay things, so I’m not sure exactly when that could be).

I am pretty sure, based on her look, that she will be released to the Beanie Boo collection, however, this is still unclear at the moment.

Faye is not to be confused with another fox released in the Beanie Babies range this year, called Fay (without the “e”).

Keep a look out for Faye later this year!

Four new exclusive moose Beanie Boos!

Tuesday, February 18th, 2020

Today, I was scoping out the Ty Calendar and spotted four new faces on there!

Meet Rasmus, Harald, Birger and Väinö!

Each of these adorable moose Beanie Boos represent Scandinavian countries. Rasmus for Denmark, Harald for Norway, Birger for Sweden and Väinö for Finland. Even their hooves and antlers are the colours of their country’s flag!

They appear to be European exclusives (possibly exclusive to their counterpart countries, but that is pure speculation on my part).

So far, they don’t appear to be available anywhere, so I’m assuming they haven’t been released yet. But aren’t they cute?!

New Beanie Boos for 2019 – Asha and Orson!

Sunday, January 27th, 2019

Today I came upon two new Beanie Boos that are set to be released soon. Their names are Asha and Orson, and they’re both Ostriches!

Asha is a pastel coloured rainbow Ostrich with a long pink neck. She will be available in both small and medium sizes.

Orson is a brown ostrich with flecks of different shades of brown throughout his feathers and a long beige coloured neck. He will also have small and medium size options.

Both ostrich Beanie Boos should be hopefully available within the next month. I just can’t wait for these two to make an appearance!

What do you think of these next additions to the Beanie Boo range?

Cherie is a real Beanie Boo!

Sunday, January 13th, 2019

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend!

I’ve had a couple of people contact me to say that they have spotted Cherie in stores in the USA, so she is a real new release for Valentine’s Day!

I’m not sure if she’s available outside the USA yet, but I’ll keep a lookout for her!

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who contacted me about Cherie, it really means a lot when people get involved with the website and help out with information.

Have you spotted Cherie yet?

New Beanie Boo Released? Or is it?

Thursday, January 10th, 2019

I’ve come across this little unicorn, apparently called Cherie, on the internet. Could this be a new Beanie Boo?

I’m not prepared to add it to the site yet as I have yet to confirm if it’s real or fake.

I’ve seen one unboxing video, but it doesn’t include a hang tag in the video so it could be a fake. It was also on an ended eBay listing, which looks like it was sent from China, so again I’m a little suspicious. The only other place I’ve seen it is on Aliexpress, again a dubious source.

The sources I’ve found it claim it to be a 2019 Valentine’s Day Beanie Boo, but until I get some more information I’d treat it with caution for now.

Can anyone provide any more information on this Beanie Boo?
