My Brand New Peter Rabbit Beanies Arrived – Plus Two More!

Hi everyone! Yesterday, I had a very important parcel arrive…my brand new Peter Rabbit Beanie Baby and Beanie Bouncer from The Magical Gift Boutique!

I also ordered a couple of other Beanies, Amelia Cat and Lara Capybara to arrive with them, and I think all of them look miles better in real life than they do in their stock images!

As promised, I said I would show them to you all when they arrive and here they all are below!

Peter Rabbit – Beanie Baby

The Peter Beanie Baby has a great, new look, and you can’t notice it at first, but he has subtle, glittery brown eyes!

I love all the little details they have given him, from the cream coloured fur surrounding his eyes, to the graded peach in his ears. His jacket is also adorable with embroidered, golden buttons and even embroidered pockets!

His hang tag even includes the Peter Rabbit (The World Of Beatrix Potter) logo inside. There is also an illustration of the original Peter Rabbit.

Peter Rabbit – Beanie Bouncer

Even the Peter Rabbit Beanie Bouncer has some lovely details! His ears have the ombre-effect peach inside and he has wonderfully embroidered eyes!

He is also seriously soft and lovely to hold!

Interestingly, he has the newer style of Beanie Bouncers tag, which now looks like a booklet-style hang tag!

Amelia Cat

Amelia is a kitty I’ve wanted to buy since she was released earlier this year but hadn’t got round to getting her!

She is even better in real-life than I thought she’d be!

She has gorgeous, glittery blue eyes with fabulous eyelashes! Sometimes, I find the eyelashes to be a bit much, but on Amelia they actually really suit her!

Her whiskers are also really cute as they are quite long! The tiny amount of airbrushing on her chest just finishes her off nicely.

Amelia’s Birthday is on 20th August and her poem reads:

My fur is soft and white,
You’ll want to hold me tight.
I’m a cute little kitty,
very cuddly and pretty.

Lara Capybara

Finally, Ty made a capybara Beanie! And Lara Capybara really is adorable!

She is incredibly soft and I love her chocolate-brown muzzle and ears!

Her eyes are glittery gold and I love the way she holds her dark brown paws, like she’s on the lookout for a new home!

She really is so sweet!

A capybara loves to hide.
By water’s edge they like to stay,
Swimming and snoozing all day.

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

I’m serious! The Peter Rabbit beanies are much cuter in real-life then my expectations and so are Amelia and Lara!

I love how Lara looks fluffier in reality. She’s adorable!

Ty Classic Shadow The Cat Restoration Project!

Hi everyone! I bought this Ty Classic Shadow off Vinted for only £1! She was in need of a bit of TLC (as stated by the seller) so I took pity on her and bought her as a restoration project!

She seriously needed a good clean! Her fur had lost it’s shine and felt grubby, her white face and paws looked dirty and were no longer soft and her belly needed a good scrub!

Her paws also had a weird, knobbly feel to them and overall, she needed a good fluffing up!

First, I soaked her in a mixtures of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to try and get rid of any smells and soften her fur a little.

After rinsing the vinegar-bicarb mix off her, I filled up the tub again and gave her a lovely bubble bath and scrubbed her fur clean. Then I rinsed all the soap out!

I dried Shadow as best as I could with a hairdryer and fluffed her up several times.

I then left her in a warm place to dry fully before fluffing her up some more to try and restore the softness to her fur!

Ty Classic Shadow Restoration Project All Clean

Her fur is now silky, her paws and face and back to their original colour and now they are much softer!

I discovered after cleaning her up that she was actually missing a whisker. Sadly, her already faded tush tag could not be saved and it actually faded further, but I’m glad I could save Shadow and bring back her sparkle!

His tree branch arms are wide open for the biggest hug ever!

Snowdrop

Snowdrop White Reindeer Christmas Winter Ty Beanie Boo 2025

Snowdrop is just GORGEOUS! Her winter-white fur is beautifully shimmery and she has fluffier, white fur on her chest.

I love how her hooves are made from shiny fabric rather than glitter, as the glitter has a tendency to shed. It also feels kind of scratchy to touch. Whereas, Snowdrop’s hooves are lovely and smooth.

My fluffy fur is white as snow,
I spread cheer wherever I go.
A nose so red and eyes so bright,
I’ll bring you joy on Christmas night.

Snaps is just adorable! From his bright green, glittery eyes to his cute little swirly, red and white buttons!

He is finished off with white icing around his face and red, green and white, striped icing around his arms and feet. He just looks scrumptious!

His Birthday is on 19th September and his poem reads:

I’m not a secret you need to keep,
My name is Snaps! I’m a treat!

Comet Green Christmas Alien Winter Beanie Boo 2025

Comet was one of the Christmas Beanie Boos I was most looking forward to this year! And I’m so glad I got him!

This little green man is ready to brighten up your Christmas! He is ever so soft, and has the most adorable eyes! I think it’s great that Ty have gone with something a bit different this Christmas as well as the traditional snowmen and reindeer!

His Santa hat is also too cute!

Comet’s Birthday is on 26th October and his poem reads:

Comet the alien, from a star so bright,
Wearing a Santa hat, what a sight!
Smiling warmly, festive cheer,
Christmas joy from the outer sphere.

Gourdo

Gourdo Pumpkin Halloween Ty Beanie Bouncers 2025

Gourdo is currently exclusive to the USA, so being in the UK, I was lucky to get him!

He is really soft and a bright orange colour. He also bounces when thrown and luckily won’t smash into pieces if you do (unlike a real pumpkin).

However, he is just a little cutie and I won’t be throwing him around…much.

Being a Beanie Bouncer, Gourdo only has a tush tag that features his name and birth date. His Birthday is on 28th September.

My thoughts on the 2025 Christmas Beanie Boos…

I think my favourites from this years Christmas Beanie Boos are Snowdrop and Comet. Snowdrop, because I love the reindeer Beanie Boos and I especially love how Ty have opted out of using glitter on her hooves/antlers. Comet, because he is completely different from other Christmas designs and I always love a new face! Plus, he’s so sweet!

I bought the Christmas Beanie Boos as a bundle from The Magical Gift Boutique, which works out a little cheaper overall. As I was buying them all anyway, this was the best option for me. Although, their prices individually are great too if you only want one or two.

I LOVE Gourdo too! He is going to become one of my Halloween decorations this year along with Seeds (from the Beanie Balls collection), and for a bit of nostalgia, 1998 Beanie Baby, Pumkin’!

Charity Shop Haul – Plus Bongo Brown Tail Beanie Find!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my latest charity shop haul!

I was scouring through a charity shop that I visited recently, and spotted a basket with a few Beanie Babies on one of the shelves.

First I picked up Bongo, but as it was the common “tan tail” version that I already own, I put him back. Then, I spotted another Bongo, so I turned him over and discovered he was the “brown tail” variant.

Sure, he isn’t in 100% mint condition, needs a small amount of spot-cleaning and unfortunately is missing a hang tag, but for £2.50 I couldn’t pass him up!

Isn’t he awesome?! But that’s not all…

I turned him over to get a better look at his tush tag, and discovered that he in fact has a 2nd Generation tush tag!

Sadly, it’s not in great shape and is heavily faded, but still a pretty cool find for a charity shop!

I also picked up a couple of other common Beanie Babies, Sherwood (tagged) and Almond (untagged).

I never usually find anything apart from common Beanie Babies in charity shops, so finding a “brown tail”, 2nd generation tush tag Bongo, albeit not in the best condition, was pretty cool!

The Ty Website Has Gone!

Where has Ty.com gone?!

Hi everyone! Something very odd has happened….Ty’s official main website and shopping website have both gone!

It all started when a new official Beanie Bouncers page, called Ty Tube, appeared that focuses on Beanie Bouncers and activities. Something that Ty call their new “entertainment website”.

So where has the official Ty website gone?

Well, it’s all a bit of a mystery! No one seems to know for sure, although there are theories being put about.

Now ty.com simply redirects to Ty Tube and shop.ty.com has no ability to purchase anything anymore, it just invites you to visit Ty Tube.

Everyone is a bit confused and frustrated as the Ty website was the only place they bought new Beanie Boos from!

Will the online store come back?

We are all a little in the dark about it. The replies from Ty about their website have been met with variations of the same reply:

“The shop is currently unavailable. Check with your local retailers for Beanies near you”.

Does this mean that the store will return? The fact that they have added that it’s “currently unavailable” seems to have left it open that the website could return, but really it’s anyone’s guess.

What are the theories surrounding the website’s disappearance?

Some suggest that the website could have been hacked. I’m not sure about this one as surely there should be some sort of public statement by now.

Others say it’s a push towards Beanie Bouncers. A possibility, especially with their focus on the market rate of value.

It could also be a publicity stunt for social media engagement. Ty aren’t strangers when it comes to publicity stunts. Remember when The End bear came out to mark the end of the Beanie Babies line, but then The Beginning came out?

There is also the possibility that they have other ideas in the pipeline that none of us are aware of yet. Again, possible.

Maybe they are literally just doing maintenance work on the website?

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

What does this mean for those who rely on the Ty website?

At this current moment, no one seems to have any information on if/when the actual website will return. This is frustrating to those that frequently use and rely on the website so I hope it gets sorted soon for you all.

I’m in the UK so am unable to order through Ty’s website directly, but I feel for those who regularly use the Ty website, as this is likely to be a huge inconvenience right now, especially with Christmas coming up.

There will be those who live near a Ty retailer, but not everyone does. It’s worth seeing if any retailers have websites to order from in the meantime. Amazon also have a selection of Beanies, although they may not have all the newest releases.

My Vinted Beanie Baby Find…Canyon the Cougar!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to show you all the latest addition to my Beanie Baby collection, Canyon the cougar!

Canyon isn’t a new Beanie Baby, he was released waaaay back in 1998, making this little cutie 28 years old! He isn’t even a particularly rare Beanie Baby, in fact he’s only worth between $1-5. But for me, this little guy is perfect!

Weirdly, I never particularly had a great fondness for Canyon as a kid. I didn’t DISLIKE him or anything, he just never stood out to me like other Beanie Babies. But I saw this little guy on Vinted for £1.50 (around $2) and couldn’t just leave him there…all alone…waiting for someone to take him home…

So I did.

Now, let’s take a closer look at this adorable feline…

A little bit about Canyon…

First for the basic info on Canyon.

His style number is 4212.

He is made up of a light brown body and head and a cream coloured tummy. His button eyes and golden and black, he has a peach nose and black thread whiskers. There is a black stripe on both sides of his muzzle and he has black and white ears.

Canyon ALWAYS had a 5th generation hang tag and a 6th generation tush tag (see my “Hang Tag Identification Guide” and “Tush Tag Identification Guide” for more information on tag generations.

Canyon’s Birthday is on 29th May 1998. His poem reads as follows:

Now that we’ve taken a look at Canyon in a bit more detail, what do I think of the Canyon Beanie Baby I bought off Vinted?

What do I think about my Vinted Canyon Beanie Baby?

One word. Perfect! There is not one thing wrong with him!

His tags are in mint condition, his whiskers are still in tact. In fact, his fur still retains that “new Beanie Baby” plushness that you would have if you bought him straight out of the shop in 1998!

I am so happy with him, and the seller was great too. She kept me updated throughout and even put this lovely little note inside…

Ty Tube – The New Official Ty Website!

Ty Tube Beanie Bouncers Website

Hi everyone!

Ty has launched a new official website – Ty Tube!

Ty Tube appears to be solely centred around Beanie Bouncers and features YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts videos based on Beanie Bouncers for you to watch through the website

There is a list of the Beanie Bouncers that have been released, plus a collection/wish list feature.

The fun part of Ty Tube is the various challenges that you can try using Beanie Bouncers with your friends. Each challenge has a difficulty level and a check box for when you have completed it.

Ty Tube features data on the current Beanie Bouncers market and whether your Beanie Bouncers have gone up or down in value.

There is also a “wall” space called Ty Talk with a “Quote Of The Day” at the top, where you can post your latest thoughts, pictures and questions on Beanie Bouncers!
