It’s a lovely sunny afternoon here at Beaniepedia HQ and the best part is…it’s Friday!
We had a lovely walk around the park this morning and Nuts posed for a photo shoot.
Tomorrow, I am hoping to hit the charity shops (thrift stores in the USA) in the hope that I can find some bargain Beanie Babies/Boos!
Up until recently in the UK, most shops, including charity shops were closed due to the pandemic. They are now finally open again, so we are going to see if we can find any bargains!
I love searching charity shops for bargains. Not only is it fun to see what you can find, and you are essentially recycling by buying unwanted things, but the money is also going to a good cause, which makes it even better!

It’s a lovely, sunny Wednesday afternoon here at Beaniepedia HQ and Nuts is hanging out with his buddy, Scorch!
As I’ve mentioned on my other website, Jelly Collector, I’m currently OBSESSED with collecting dragons! Scorch, the dragon Beanie Baby above is one of my all-time favourites. I’ve had him for years and bought him because at the time I LOVED Spyro the Dragon on the PS1.
Currently, Holly, the Claire’s exclusive dragon is the only dragon in my Beanie Boos collection (isn’t she beautiful?!).
However, I do have some dragon Beanie Boos on the way. Soon, I should hopefully have Saffire, Grindal and Anora (pictured below).
I was going to order Cinder too, but I might have to try and get him next month.
I am also in love with Spectra, but as I’m in the UK and she is a Michael’s exclusive from the USA, he is harder to get over here, although not impossible.
Merlin, the Walgreens exclusive dragon, is another one that is harder to find, especially in the UK. He is a gorgeous black dragon with a shiny orange belly. I love his shiny scale pattern that covers him from head to toe.
Darla is another dragon I might have to leave until a later date. She is probably going to be a bit easier to get hold of as she’s currently widely available.
She is a bright pink dragon covered in sparkles and has beautiful, shiny green wings and sparkly green eyes.
I would also love Kate from the Flippables range. I love how her sequins look like scales and they are a beautiful colour!
I hope that Ty make more dragon Beanie Boos as I find them sooo cute!

Well, after a lovely warm Sunday, the weather seems to have decided that it would like to go back to Winter again as it’s freeeeezing!
Since it’s (apparently) Spring, I’ve decided to post up my five favourite Springtime Beanie Boos! (these are subject to change as I’m forever changing my mind!)
Feathers is the Easter Chick offering this year! The reason I chose her is because she is so fluffy! She just looks like a little marshmallow and is so cute! I like how her fur is two-tone with a pale yellow base and hints of pink.
Clover was released back in 2011 and I love the simplicity of her. She was released before Ty made every Beanie Boo glittery and I love that she just looks like a normal, simple lamb.
Hennie is the only “older” chicken Beanie Boo. What I mean by that is that she isn’t a baby chick like the other chicken Beanie Boos, she is a hen (hence her name). I love her fuzzy white feathers and red comb.
Lollypop is a little bunny with colourful fur. She looks like what her name suggests, a lollypop! I think her pink nose goes perfectly with the white of her chin.
Fuzzy is the second Spring offering this year! I was actually torn between Fuzzy and Slippers (last year’s Easter bunny). They are both very similar, but I chose Fuzzy as I actually prefer her purple fur. She is one of those Beanie Boos that pictures don’t really do her justice and she is much cuter in real life.
Who are your favourite Springtime Beanie Boos? Leave a comment below!
Recently, I managed to get hold of Fuzzy and Feathers, the two Easter Beanie Boos for 2021! I must say I’ve changed my mind a little!
On a previous post, I said that Fuzzy was very similar to Slippers, last year’s Easter bunny and I wasn’t sure about her. She is very similar, BUT I really really like her! I love her colour and I think she’s just adorable!
Feathers is also the perfect match for Lemon Drop, last year’s Easter chick and is sooo fluffy and cute!
Both Fuzzy and Feather’s also make a great match, don’t you think?
The picture doesn’t do them justice as they look far better in real life.
I also picked up a bargain last weekend as Poundland (in the UK) had all of the smaller size Squish a Boos in stock for £5 each! So I picked up Bloomy and Popper!
These two are the new Easter Squish a Boos for this year, so I had to grab them while they were so cheep (oh dear…bad joke alert).
Here they are pictured next to Dotty, my larger sized Squish a Boo.
Aren’t they cute?! They are sooo squishy, and make great Easter decorations!

Hope you all have a very Happy Easter and stay safe!
It’s time for a news roundup of what’s been going on in the world of Beanies.
There are a few upcoming Beanie Boos that I forgot to mention that should be out later this year. The first of these is a cute little dog called Muddles. Even his name is adorable!
He is covered in cute little spots, which may or may not be muddy patches from (and I quote from his poem) “playing in muddy puddles”!
And finally, the next upcoming new faces are almost the same as previous Beanie Boos that have already been released, which I’m not too sure about as they are practically identical in every way.
The first of these is Fiona.
Fiona looks absolutely identical to the Claire’s exclusive, Amaya. The only differences are the poem, birth date and style number. I guess Fiona is trying to be the regular retail version of Amaya, but I think that Ty could have made some effort to make her a little different (and Amaya is one of my favourite Beanie Boos).
The second of these clones of previous releases is Atlas.
Atlas is like the twin sister of the Claire’s exclusive, Piper (pictured below). They are basically the same Beanie Boo.
The only difference in appearance are that Atlas has embroidered eyelashes and Piper doesn’t….that’s all. However, they do have a different poem, style number and birth date. But looks-wise, they are basically identical.
I love love LOVE Muddles, Cassidy and Nina. I think they are good new additions to the Beanie Boos range. I LIKE Atlas and Fiona, but only because I like Piper and Amaya. However, I think Ty could have done something different with them. To me, it feels like they’ve just reused the same design and shoved a new birth date and poem on them.

Yesterday was Mother’s Day here in the UK, and my wonderful daughter (with some help from Daddy) gave me two Beanie Boos!
Meet Gumball and Dotty! They are two that I’ve been wanting for a while, but for whatever reason, I just never seemed to get round to buying them! But I’m so grateful for my lovely present, they are both so cute!
I just wanted to share them both with you as they are now two of my favourite Beanie Boos and soooo colourful!
Anyway, the reason for this post…
I didn’t have the chance to post about it before, but last week a couple of improvements/fixes were made to the website!
One was something that has been requested before and something I have been meaning to add for sometime…a Beanie wishlist!
If you spot a Beanie while browsing the website that you want to add to your collection at a later date and you don’t want to forget who it is, you can now add it to your Wishlist area!
To add a Beanie to your Wishlist, click on the “Add it to my wishlist” link on the right-hand side of the page (see the screenshot below):
To view the Beanies in your Wishlist, visit the area at the top of the page called “My Wishlist” highlighted in the screenshot below:
Hope this is of use to you, and if you experience any issues, please get in touch!
Also, one of our members pointed out that you were no longer able to post comments/reviews on any of the Beanies. This issue has now been fixed! My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Hope you like the new Wishlist feature and stay tuned for more Beanie updates!
Mandy is a blue poodle and I absolutely ADORE her colour! I like the fact that Ty kept it simple with her and made her blue all over, from her curly fur to her glittery blue eyes!
The third Beanie Boo Birthday today is that of Piggley!
There were actually two versions of this cute little pig. The Piggley on the left of the image above was actually the first version back in 2016. Then, in 2017 he was re-released in the darker pink colour of the Piggley on the right.
It’s just under two weeks until Mother’s Day in the UK now, so I thought I’d show you five of my favourite Mother’s Day Beanie Babies! As always, these are in no particular order.
The first of these is a lovely white bear called Dear One!
Dear One holds a beautiful bouquet of white roses in her paws, tied delicately with a pale pink ribbon. I love the little finishing touches on her, like the green leaves that form part of the bouquet.
Dear Mom has more of a “traditional” teddy bear style of face with an embroidered nose instead of the classic Beanie Baby bear, oval-shaped nose. She is made from a soft, pink fabric and holds a delicate pink, mesh flower in her paws.
The next Mother’s Day bear in this list is simply called Mum.
Mum is a light pink colour and has the classic look of a Beanie Baby bear. She has three, pale lilac-coloured tulips embroidered on her chest tied with a tiny, bright pink ribbon.
I love the simplicity of this bear and her poem says everything you need:
She always looks at me with pride When I’m in need she’s at my side She cares for me and she’s my chum And that is why I love my Mum!
Second to last on my list is the bright pink bear, Dearly!
Dearly is a salmon-pink colour bear who carries a huge, white flower in her paws with the word “MOM” embroidered on it’s petals. I like how the white of the flower goes well the pink colour of the bear and it has little details like the darker green veins on flower’s leaves.
She is a gorgeous light blue colour and covered in a pink, floral pattern. She was released back in 2008, hence the writing on her pale pink ribbon and was a Hallmark Gold Crown exclusive Beanie Baby.
I think it’s such a shame that Ty don’t seem to make any Mother’s Day Beanie Babies anymore and there are no Mother’s Day Beanie Boos at all! I would love a Mother’s Day Beanie Boo!
What do you think of these Mother’s Day Beanie Babies? Who would you put on this list? Leave a comment below!
Hope you are all well today? It’s a bright, sunny day here are Beaniepedia HQ and has been feeling a lot more like Spring recently, which makes a nice change from the miserable cold, Winter days that we’ve been having up until recently. Below is a picture of Roam enjoying the flowers yesterday during a walk in the park.
As I mentioned in my last post, I want to go through a few other new faces that are going to be appearing later in the Spring.
Six new Ty Puffies are going to be joining the range and they look sooo cute!
As you may already know, Puffies are a bit like a new, updated version of the retired Beanie Ballz range, except they are a bit fluffier and so far, are only available in one size. They are weighted at the bottom, so when you throw them in the air they always land on their feet.
Prince will soon have a new friend, with the addition of a brand new pink husky called Princess!
It looks like these two will be kind of an unofficial pair, since both are huskies and they both have royal titles (Prince, Princess).
Joining her with the “pink and white” theme will be Tabor the white tiger!
Tabor was originally released as a Beanie Baby and a Ty Classic. Later a Teeny Ty version appeared, and now she will be joining the Puffies range!
Next up is a little dog called Mandarin!
Mandarin, as his name suggests, is an orange-coloured dog with a brown patch over his right eye. I wouldn’t like to suggest what type of dog he is (I’d love to hear your suggestions in the comments!), but he is really cute!
Dotty the leopard will also be joining the Puffies range!
Dotty was a rainbow coloured leopard Beanie Boo originally, but her popular design has featured across many product lines. I must admit, she is fabulous!
There is also going to be a new blue, pink and purple Puffie called Cleo!
Now, my first thoughts were that Cleo is supposed to be a cat, but after double-checking the Ty Calendar, she appears to actually be a husky, which I did not expect as she really doesn’t look like a husky at all! To me, she looks a little like a French Bulldog/Chihuahua? What do you guys think?
And finally my absolute favourite of the new Puffies….
I just love the vibrant colours on this little kitty and her mismatched eyes are co cute! They kind of remind me of Heather’s odd-eyes. On top of that, I love the name Gizmo. Firstly, because Gremlins was one of my favourite movies as a kid, and also I used to have a pet rat called Gizmo (named after the main character in the movie – R.I.P. little guy!).
What do you think of the new Ty Puffies? Which is your favourite? Leave a comment below!
Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. I’ve been giving my daughter’s room a much-needed makeover which has taken much longer than I bargained for!
I was so disappointed that Ty weren’t releasing any Valentine’s Day Beanie Boos this year. Last year we had some adorable Valentine’s Beanie Boos, like Dainty the curly-haired flamingo and Aphrodite the pink husky, but sadly this year we had none.
However, in the Ty calendar there are a few Easter treats in store for us, as well a some other new faces joining them!
Today, I’m going to introduce to you the new Easter Beanies!
Fuzzy is almost a twin of last year’s Easter rabbit Beanie Boo, Slippers. The only difference is Fuzzy is purple instead of white and they have a slightly different eye colour. Slippers is pictured below so you can compare the two.
Although I love the design of these two bunnies (their little slippers are adorable!), I’m a little disappointed that Ty haven’t at least changed the design a little as they are practically identical!
Feathers, as you can probably tell, is an Easter chick. Ty usually release a chick Beanie Boo for Spring (last year we had the cute little yellow chick, Lemon Drop) so it’s not really a surprise as such. However, I think they’ve got Feathers just right! I love her pink-tinged colour which makes her look so cuddly!
As far as I know, these are the only two Easter Beanie Boos, but there will also be two new Squish a Boos making an appearance!
All of these new Beanies are due to be released either this month or next, so keep your eyes open for them!
There are also some more new faces coming out soon which I will post up shortly, so stay tuned!
I know I have quite a few emails to get through, which I will try and reply to as soon as I can and I will also be adding your Beanie requests on to the site. If I haven’t added your request yet, it should be in there soon.
Hope you’re all well, and please stay safe! (also Roam says Hi!)
